About

Oh hey there!

My name is Phoebe aka Pheebs, Phe Phe, Pheebo…The list goes on! I’m a natural maternity / newborn / family / engagement photographer, who is a certain someone always on the look out to capture those candids & generally speaking a gal who just loves a good old chat either about tech, travel, music or yummy food!

My Mini Story

So I'm a country girl that's based on the edge of The New Forest, Hampshire but most definitely available to travel further if needed! I grew up and have always lived near here by the peaceful nature and water, I find it extremely nostalgic and will always call it ‘Home’.

Having studied amongst all the local schools including Brockenhurst College and Solent University, for sure there is no taking me away!

From the beginning, I studied Art GCSE which sparked my initial passion into the world of electronic arts. Using photography mixed with photoshop and a Wacom, I managed to create a forest themed final submission. This piece of work was later bought by a client, from a school exhibition, which was displayed at The Master Builder’s - Buckler’s Hard.

I continued to pursue my love of art by submersing myself into an Extended Level 3 course in Art & Design at Brockenhurst College. Igniting further my interest into photography. I completed several units within the photography department, experimenting with light and post production. I knew then I had to one day ultimately work in the photographic industry.

My next direction was to head onto university. I applied to study for a Fashion Photography degree. Despite achieving a full year there, I sensed that this pathway wasn’t suited to me and I desperately wanted to find a field of photography that captured special, candid and happy times behind the lens.

Through trying different routes, mixed with Covid-19, it proved difficult to accomplish my goals.

However, I wasn’t going to let that stop me! So I messaged many different photographers. One who gifted me the opportunity to meet her and aid her on her many wedding shoots throughout a year. I completely owe her in helping me get into the world of professional photography, which has resulted me in where I find myself today!

I absolutely love what I do! Meeting new people - especially bubbas - everyday and being welcomed into their world to share unique, once in a lifetime moments with them. I feel this concept never gets old with me and continues to grow my admiration for what I can call my dream job.

Thank you so much for your time, please check out my portfolio to see my work further.

Fact 1

I am absolutely addicted to chatting! It's my biggest hobby of mine! I am well known by my friends and family to be always eager to talk about anything and everything. Space and beyond would be one topic that fascinates me hugely in a discussion!

Fact 2

If there's one way to my heart it is... food! My mother, nan and basically whole family have gifted me with buckets of love through food my whole life. Trying new flavours and dishes! I love almost every kind; especially yummy Thai, Italian and French cuisine!

Fact 3

When you don't see me holding a camera in my hand, you'll see me off travelling and exploring new places! My biggest passion would have to be Skiing, I have been going since I was 6 years old, I will always favour it over a summer holiday! Particularly for it's Après-Ski!

Fact 4

Another love of mine is music! Growing up my father would play his music, it inspired me greatly. He'd play all sorts; Fleetwood Mac, Queen, Candy Dulfer & much more! As a result I took up Saxophone, which I can still play (but very rusty!)

KIND WORDS
A romantic black and white portrait captures an intimate moment between a couple in soft natural light.

I truly cannot recommend Phoebe enough!! She did an engagement shoot for my fiance and I and we have been blown away by the incredible gallery we received. Phoebe suggested a beautiful location for us and was able to put us right at ease (neither of us are huge fans of having our photo taken, so this speaks volumes!), we spent most of the shoot laughing! The results are so beautiful, the photos really capture our relationship in a way I didn't think was possible.
